Reads my Readers Recommend

‘Left to Tell’ by Immaculee Ilibagiza “It’s the memoir of a lady who survived the Rwandan genocide. It’s the best book I have ever read. and i read about 150 books per year.”

‘Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire’ by Jim Cymbala “I picked it up and am loving it. always a sucker for a memoir, i was pulled in immediately. the book is ultimately about prayer, but it follows the rise of the brooklyn tabernacle from a strugglin, 30-member church to the one it is today. it’s a great story, but more importantly, it is changing my prayer life.”

Mary Russell mystery series by Laurie King starting with ‘The Beekeeper’s Apprentice’ “These are fun and interesting reads about a fictional female fellow sleuth to Sherlock Holmes.”

Florian’s Gate by T. Davis Bunn “A Christian fiction Trilogy I have particularly liked.  I have re-read this series several times”

‘Twenty Chickens for a Saddle’ by Robyn Scott “about her childhood in Botswana with her parents who described themselves as living on the fringe.  It was pretty good.”

‘The Prince and the Pauper’ by Mark Twain “It was an interesting read that is a bit different from his other books”

‘The Screwtape Letters’ by CS Lewis

‘Gilead’ by Marilynne Robinson

‘The Witch of Blackbird Pond’ by Elizabeth George Spear
